Let This Painting's Story — Touch Your Own!
✍️ From My Personal Journal
Some paintings arrive like storms. This one came like a breeze.
I didn’t overthink it. I didn’t plan much. I just followed the movement—the soft lean of petals, the quiet bend of stems, the way the wind carries things when no one is watching.
These flowers weren’t meant to be arranged. They were meant to float.
That’s where the name came from—IN THE WIND. It just… appeared. Like the image itself. Like the feeling behind it.
I imagined them drifting—weightless, effortless, without expectation. They weren’t fighting the current. They weren’t trying to land anywhere specific. They were just moving. Trusting.
And in that movement, there was peace.
I think about how often we tie ourselves in knots. Always chasing, always controlling, always clenching our fists around outcomes. But maybe the real strength is in letting go. In softening. In moving with life instead of against it.
That’s what I wanted to paint.
The background stayed grey and fluid—like a sky that can’t decide between sun and cloud. A middle ground. A moment of pause. Not sad. Not bright. Just… honest.
The daisies held their own, even in motion. Bright without trying. Present without demanding attention. I loved that about them.
One petals forward. One turns away. One barely hangs on. And somehow, together, they still feel whole. Like people. Like us.
I hope when someone sees this piece, they feel a little more room inside their chest. Like they’ve exhaled something they didn’t know they were holding.
Maybe it’s a reminder that life isn’t always meant to be planned. That beauty can exist in drift. That we don’t need to know where we’re going to belong somewhere when we get there.
Some things aren’t meant to be pinned down.
They’re meant to be carried.
In the wind.
