There are parts of ourselves we don’t discover…
we remember.
This painting didn’t begin with an idea.
It began with a quiet pull—something familiar, but just out of reach.
Not something I needed to create…
something I needed to uncover.
At first, it came through color.
That deep, luminous purple.
Not chosen. Not planned.
It simply arrived… and stayed.
There was something in it that felt known—something that didn’t need explanation to feel true.
And then the form revealed itself.
A horse… but not as we often imagine it.
Not running. Not wild.
Curved inward. Folding into itself.
As if it wasn’t trying to be seen…
but trying to understand.
As I continued, other elements began to appear—
not placed, but emerging.
Shapes, patterns, movements…
each one carrying a quiet familiarity.
I didn’t set out to define them.
And yet, they felt like symbols I already understood.
Not in words…
but in feeling.

They simply resonate.
The lines began to move differently after that.
Flowing. Circling. Connecting.
